Hidden Pain

I treat you as  a friend,

But you treated me as  a trash,

You shove me away,

Like a useless man.

 

 Now, the fire in my eyes,

The wound in my heart

Will stay forever

As long as I live.

 True friends are really hard to find

False friends are like autumn leaves

Scattered everywhere.

 

Harsh words are hard to bear

Stabbed  behind my back

Insensitivity in you,   a ruthless man.

You made me stronger by your unbearable words

Standing firm where am I right now,

 Brave heart  as I face the world

Not afraid anymore in the dark.

Vengeance is not ours, my  friend

The wheel of life will keep on turning.

Life still must go on, 

My rhythm plays the song.

As the sun still shining on me,

Soon, I will leave my path

Only time will heal the wounds

The scars that marked my weakest point.

 

Walk of Life

Sometimes, I ask myself, where will I be after 50 years? Am I still active and kicking once I reach the age of 70 or 80?
Lots of families mourn and grieve because of losing loved-ones. The bitterness and sweetness of  life, as we are all experiencing serve as our shield as we go on through our journey.

Some may think others are fortunate, while others are not.  God created us equal. It is how we manage our lives in  our daily basis.

This is the note given by RJ and Louise whom I met  in Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru- Maldives, which inspires me to do another article.

Then the couple gave me a small booklet with bible verses. As I open it, the scripture says, "Ephesians 2:8-10....For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it. God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do. "

Life on an Island

I never thought I could be in this place. Seeing different races and mingling with different nationalities. 

Feeling excited in high spirit as I embrace cool breeze once we landed in a beautiful picturesque scenery in Velavaru. 

Dreaming when I was young that people who are filthy rich can only afford to travel around the globe. People who are fortunate enough to see different wonders of the world. It was a dream come true to be into this place where in some people can only see places through travel magazines, movies, or even in the internet. 

October 24, 2013 when I left Dubai. All my memories kept on my mind. Teary-eyed as I bid goodbye to my close friends and colleagues.

As I welcome Maldives, I wholeheartedly open my mind and heart to new challenges and willing to learn different skills.
